Violet Dennison (b. 1989, Bridgeport, CT)  lives and works in New York. A multimedia artist, Dennison investigates paranoia, power and self expression while exploring our relationship to the ecologically and technologically unstable world. In 2019 Dennison's solo show TELL ME HOW TO FEEL was on view at Kunsthall Stavanger, Norway. Dennison had another solo show Disappointment: Chapter Four on view in 2019 at Kunstverein Freiburg. The artist has previously shown at Jan Kaps in 2017. 

Her work has been included in the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield (2019); New Museum Triennial, New York (2018); Main Project of the 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Russia (2018); Bureau, New York (2018); Union Pacific, London (2017); Jan Kaps, Cologne (2017) and David Zwirner, New York (2015). In 2020 Dennison took part in group online exhibition, Focus Group II: Paratexts, at Von Ammon Co.
